Bond Hearings, Aliens in Deportation If you happen to be arrested or detained by Immigration you must retain an attorney to get you a Bond Hearing. Bond Hearings are an important part of Immigration Defense process. By being released on bond, you literally buy yourself more time to prepare a solid defense to your deportation charges. We begin by communicating with Deportation officers and arguing to them that Bonds should be set by them and what amount. If such amount is too high, or Deportation officers holds client as one that is not to be released. We ask, when proper, the Immigration court for a Bond hearing, were we argue that client is eleigible for a Bond and what the bond amount should be.
